Key responsibilities of Guard/Cleaner:
Facility Security & Access Control:
- Protect health center premises, personnel, patients, medical equipment, and pharmaceutical assets.
- Monitor visitor access, prevent unauthorized entry, manage patient flow, and immediately report security threats or suspicious activity to management.
Hygiene, Disinfection & IPC Protocols:
- Execute daily cleaning and disinfection of consultation rooms, waiting areas, corridors, and toilets in strict accordance with Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) guidelines.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly during cleaning and chemical handling.
Healthcare Waste Management:
- Collect, segregate, and dispose of medical and general waste into designated bins (sharps, infectious, general waste).
- Handle hazardous waste safely without improper handling and report damaged or overflowing containers.
Facility Maintenance & Administrative Support:
- Keep pathways, entrances, and compound grounds free from hazards and standing water; report structural damages (doors, locks, water/electrical issues) immediately.
- Assist facility staff with setting up room arrangements for health activities, moving non-medical supplies, and supporting safe emergency evacuations.
Professional Conduct & Confidentiality:
- Provide respectful, non-discriminatory support to patients and caregivers (prioritizing vulnerable individuals without intruding on clinical consultations).
- Strict adherence to PU-AMIās Code of Conduct, PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) policies, child safeguarding, and patient confidentiality.
