The Application Development Intern will have responsibilities that include:
- Gain practical experience in software development and the SDLC under the guidance of the IT team.
- Assist with software design, coding, testing, documentation, maintenance, and deployment.
- Support UI development, feature implementation, troubleshooting, and code reviews.
- Follow development best practices and contribute to teamwork, learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain professional values including accountability, integrity, collaboration, creativity, and respect for diversity.
- Comply with child safeguarding policies due to regular contact with children and young people.
Job Requirment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- No prior formal work experience is required
- Basic knowledge of application development and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Personal, academic, volunteer, or practical tech projects are an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with software engineering principles, Laravel, Vue.js, databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and basic UI/UX is preferred.
