Security OPS Team Lead is reporting to Information Security Manager, and has the following roles and responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of security analysts and specialists.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture.
- Provide guidance on professional development and technical skill enhancement.
2. Security Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring timely detection, response, and resolution of security incidents.
- Coordinate and conduct security investigations, root cause analysis, and incident response activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and best practices.
3. Policy and Procedure Development:

Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Regularly review and update security documentation to reflect the latest threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
4. Security Technology Management:
- Evaluate, implement, and manage security technologies, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
- Stay abreast of emerging security technologies and make recommendations for their adoption.
5. Incident Response and Forensics:
- Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Conduct forensic analysis when necessary to determine the root cause of security incidents.
6. Security Awareness and Training:
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
- Promote a security-conscious culture within the organization.
7. Risk Management:
- Identify and assess security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Work with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
8. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with IT, legal, compliance, and other departments to align security initiatives with business objectives.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior manager on the status of security operations.
Bachelor’s degree required.
CISM or equivalent required.
EXPERINCES
Minimum 4 years of experience in information security, information technology or related field.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CSA, CySA+) are a plus.
- Proven experience in a security operations role with a track record of progressively increasing responsibility.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
Experience with incident response, forensics, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
