The Mathematics Teacher will have responsibilities that include:
- Arrive at school 30 minutes before teaching begins and complete 24–36 teaching hours per week.
- Cover classes of absent teachers when required and fulfill all assigned teaching responsibilities.
- Prepare and follow daily, weekly, and monthly lesson plans and use appropriate teaching materials and methods.
- Monitor student attendance, learning progress, academic records, examinations, and results.
- Prepare, administer, and fairly evaluate standardized examinations and maintain accurate records.
- Assign appropriate homework, support students’ individual abilities, and maintain a positive, respectful, and healthy learning environment.
- Participate actively in school meetings, training sessions, workshops, activities, and educational programs.
- Maintain effective communication and cooperation with students, parents/guardians, colleagues, and school administration.
- Comply with school policies, organizational regulations, Ministry of Education requirements, and Child Protection and Safeguarding principles.
- Maintain confidentiality of school information and documents and follow the instructions of organizational leadership.
- Attend school 15 days before the academic year to conduct examinations for conditional and excused students.
- Perform all other relevant duties assigned by the organization and take authorized leave in accordance with applicable regulations.
- As a model school teacher, promote an environment based on respect, sincerity, care, and a positive educational atmosphere.
- Do not leave the school premises without a valid justification and prior notice to the administration.
Job Requirment
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Strong proficiency in both Pashto and Dari.
- Strong communication skills, professional ethics, and a high sense of responsibility.
