The Islamic Trainer will have responsibilities that include:
- Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of Learning & Development (L&D) strategies and annual training programs based on business needs and Training Needs Assessments (TNA).
- Deliver and coordinate training programs for new and existing employees, including Islamic Banking, Sharia, onboarding, induction, and refresher training.
- Ensure all training and onboarding programs are implemented on time and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Coordinate with the Head of L&D on training schedules, plans, budgets, and talent development initiatives.
- Manage the full cycle of Islamic training and onboarding, including planning, delivery, assessment, documentation, reporting, and follow-up.
- Prepare and maintain Islamic training presentations, materials, logs, and related documentation in accordance with AIB standards.
- Coordinate with the Sharia Department regarding the review and improvement of Islamic training materials.
- Conduct and document training assessments and ensure accurate records are properly maintained and archived.
- Maintain secure, organized, and accessible training records in both electronic and hard-copy formats.
- Provide timely onboarding support to new employees, including those assigned to provincial branches.
- Continuously update knowledge of Islamic Banking and Sharia-related developments.
- Maintain confidentiality and perform other training-related duties assigned by the Head of L&D.
Job Requirment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Islamic Finance, Shariah, Business, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Islamic Banking is preferred.
- English Diploma or certificate.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in banking, training, or a related field.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, teaching, and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, data analysis, and report writing.
- Basic understanding of L&D, Islamic Banking, and Shariah activities.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in English and relevant local languages.
