The Cashier - Nimroz will have responsibilities that include:
- Ensure that the cash box maintains an appropriate cash balance throughout the working day.
- Review all submitted documents to confirm their accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established requirements.
- Carefully inspect banknotes to detect and prevent the acceptance of counterfeit currency.
- Reconcile and balance all daily cash transactions in line with approved banking procedures and standards.
- Conduct proper identification and verification of all clients and customers.
- Cross-check clients’ signatures with their registered and authorized signatures to ensure validity.
- Examine internal cash transactions and confirm that all required authorizations and approvals are in place.
- Accurately count and reconcile the cash on hand at the end of each working day as part of the daily closing procedure.
- Assist and provide necessary backup support to the Head Cashier whenever required.
Job Requirment
- A high school diploma is required; candidates with higher education will be given preference.
- Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience in a similar or related position.
- Working knowledge of the FlexCube banking system is considered an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dari, Pashto, and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in accurate and efficient data entry.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, strong accuracy, adaptability, and flexibility in performing assigned duties.
