The Branch Manager will have responsibilities that include:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the branch’s assigned area.
- Expand the branch’s presence in new markets and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Drive sales performance and achieve assigned business and financial targets.
- Identify potential customers, conduct regular client visits, and increase the number of bank accounts.
- Build strong networks with businesses, entrepreneurs, and the local community.
- Maintain customer satisfaction, strengthen retention, and manage key customer accounts.
- Promote the GB brand and banking services within the community.
- Participate in approved events, conferences, and business development activities.
- Prepare and submit regular sales and performance reports to the line manager.
- Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and administrative processes.
- Monitor branch operations, employees, assets, and overall performance.
- Support employee capacity building and professional development.
- Handle official branch correspondence in coordination with the Operations Department.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- 3–5 years of banking or financial services experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, financial management, risk management, and banking regulations.
- Proven skills in customer relationship management, sales, branch operations, and team leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving,decision-making, and communication skills.
- High integrity, professionalism, adaptability, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop staff while achieving branch objectives.
- Relevant banking, finance, or leadership certifications are an advantage.
