Job Summary
The warehouse supervisor will be responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehoused goods.
Train, supervise, and appraise warehouse staff
Manage warehouses and instruct warehouse supervisors and teams to perform relevant tasks.
Organizing/instructing/guiding laborers during loading/offloading, storage, cleaning, and any other tasks
Maintain records
Ensure stacks are in a proper manner (Clean, safe, and easy to count) and be responsible for the cleanness of all the warehouse premises
Assist in checking the quantity of supplies to be received/dispatched against what is communicated by HPL-designated staff
The Warehouse Supervisor - ( 10 Vacancies ) will have responsibilities that include:
Make sure any irregularities, damages, or losses on shipments or stocks are urgently reported to HPL
Ensure the attendant sheet/record of laborers is filled correctly and certified by the HPL logistics Unit. The sheet will be submitted along with the monthly invoice received from the Contractor.
Supervise loading/unloading operations in the HPL warehouse
Perform cleaning of the warehouse in all HPL locations across the country
Perform any other activities as instructed by HPL’s designated staff including driving forklifts, etc.
Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirment
Education: A bachelor degree is required and higher will be preferred
Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional working experience in a similar position in warehouses
Languages: Proficiency in both national languages and English language is advantage
Self-motivated, Quick learner with a positive attitude.
Ability to supervise group of laborers efficiently in the unloading, loading and counting of supplies
Be familiar with medical supplies and batch control items
Familiarity with the usage of firefighting equipment e.g fire extinguishers
Familiarity with the usage of a photocopy machine
Experience in the packing/re-packing process
Cooperative and team-working skills
Good ability to work on multi-cultural teams
Punctual and reliable
Being flexible regarding working hours.
