Key responsibilities of Technician Radio Optimization (Casual):

• Field Surveys & Site Audits: Conduct technical site surveys to evaluate network coverage, perform physical site audits, and identify potential coverage gaps or network bottlenecks.
• RF Parameter Configuration: Accurately input RF physical parameters into TSSR (Technical Site Survey Report) and ORF (On-Air Request Form) documents based on field survey findings.
• Site Integration & Verification: Plan site integration for newly deployed on-air sites, troubleshoot integration issues, and submit formal acceptance reports.
• Physical Change Requests (CRs): Execute physical site modifications—including adjusting antenna heights (HBA), azimuths, and mechanical/electrical tilts.
• Drive Testing & Benchmarking: Organize and conduct comprehensive drive tests, network benchmarking, and live troubleshooting to identify performance issues and implement effective corrective solutions.
• RF Planning Support: Assist RF Planning Engineers with nominal site planning, as well as frequency and neighbor-cell planning for newly integrated sites.
• Performance Reporting: Monitor network performance metrics, stay updated with emerging telecom technologies, and prepare detailed analytical data and optimization reports as required.

Job Requirment

• Essential Qualification: High school diploma with at least 1 year of relevant experience in telecommunications, RF field support, or network operations.
• Preferred Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Key Skills: Understanding of mobile network architecture, basic RF principles, drive-testing tools, physical antenna adjustments, and technical reporting.
