The Plumber will have responsibilities that include:
- Carry out the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of water distribution and drainage systems.
- Diagnose and rectify plumbing faults, including water leaks, blocked taps, and related issues.
- Fit, replace, and repair sanitary fixtures such as toilets, taps, and other plumbing equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing installations to verify functionality and adherence to applicable standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities to reduce the occurrence of plumbing failures and system-related problems.
- Respond efficiently to reported plumbing faults and resolve them within the required timeframe.
- Work closely with external contractors, service providers, and suppliers when specialized support is required.
- Keep plumbing tools, equipment, supplies, and work materials properly maintained and readily available.
- Follow all established health, safety, quality, and operational procedures while carrying out assigned tasks.
- Provide supervisors or management with timely updates regarding plumbing faults, repairs, maintenance activities, and completed work.
- Undertake additional plumbing-related tasks and other responsibilities as directed by the supervisor or management.
Job Requirment
- Possess basic literacy skills; preference will be given to candidates holding a Class 12 certificate.
- Have at least three years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrate fluency in at least one of the local languages, Dari or Pashto.
- Possess a strong understanding of the tools, equipment, methods, and procedures associated with the position.
- Be physically capable of carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the role effectively.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a responsible attitude toward assigned tasks.
- Maintain a high level of honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
- Ability to remain effective and productive in high-pressure work situations.
- Be willing and able to travel to other provinces and work additional hours when required.
- Comply with all applicable company policies, rules, procedures, and workplace requirements.
