Job Summary

• The Internal Audit Officer conducts audits to evaluate internal controls and compliance, reports findings, and recommends improvements. This role ensures adherence to policies and supports continuous improvement in risk management and governance.

The Internal Audit Officer - Kabul will have responsibilities that include:

• Assist in developing an annual risk-based internal audit plan.
•   Assist in the implementation of the annual plan. 
•   Prepare audit work programs to perform audit procedures according to the program.  
•   Provide a draft report of findings and recommendations to the Head of Internal Audit. 
•   Identify fraud risks and control loopholes, and report accordingly.
•   Gather, record, and archive audit evidences for future reference.
•   Maintain internal audit filing system.
•  Follow-up with the audit clients on the agreed action plan and update monitoring and follow-up database accordingly  
•   Comply with the IIA code of ethics and standards throughout the work. 
•  Respect and adhere to the MOBY’s policies and procedures. 
•  Assist in other administrative tasks of the department. 
• Any other assignment assigned by the Head of Internal Audit.

Job Requirment

•   Bachelor's or equivalent (ACCA Applied Skills level)
•   At least 1-2 years of experience in internal auditing. 
•  Excellent knowledge of the English language (writing and speaking).
•   General understanding of organization's internal controls and risks.
•   Working knowledge of Internal Auditing standards.
•   Good report writing skills. 
•  Good presentation and communication skills 
•  Analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
•  Good presentation skills to deliver compliance-related training to the local team.
