Key responsibilities of Electrician:

• Power Distribution & System Installation: Install, service, and maintain electrical wiring, power cabling, distribution boards (DB panels), and main distribution networks across telecom sites.
• Fault Diagnosis & Technical Repair: Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical and electronic equipment malfunctions to guarantee continuous and uninterrupted network operations
• Cooling & HVAC Maintenance: Service, troubleshoot, and repair cooling/air conditioning systems vital for site equipment temperature control.
• Earthing & Protective Systems: Inspect and maintain grounding/earthing systems, surge arresters, and electrical safety devices to protect site infrastructure from lightning and power surges.
• Emergency Response & Site Restoration: Participate in emergency maintenance activities to rapidly restore power and services during site outages or network disruptions.
• Engineering Collaboration: Partner with field engineers and technical teams to upgrade, test, and enhance telecom site power setups.
• Compliance & Safety Standards: Strictly adhere to company safety policies, operational technical instructions, and safety gear requirements while handling high-voltage equipment and tools.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs and reports covering technical inspections, repairs, parts replacements, and preventative maintenance schedules according to company policy.

Job Requirment

• Education: High School Graduation Certificate (12th Grade) or technical/vocational school diploma in electrical engineering.
• Work Experience: Minimum of two to three (2–3) years of hands-on professional experience in electrical maintenance, preferably with telecom power infrastructure.
• Certifications: Technical diplomas, vocational trade certificates, or professional electrical credentials are an advantage.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Pashto or Dari; basic knowledge of the English language is a distinct advantage.
• Core Skills & Technical Competencies:
  • Strong ability to diagnose, analyze, and resolve electrical issues and technical faults promptly.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work effectively under pressure and manage emergency response situations.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and team-collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel to nearby provincial locations and work extended hours when operationally required.
  • High professional ethics, honesty, accountability, and strict compliance with corporate rules, policies, and safety protocols.
