Job Summary

    • Under the overall supervision of the CCCM Program Coordinator and the direct supervision of the Community Resource Center Team Leader, the successful candidate will contribute to roll out referral pathways to IOM CCCM programmes and will be responsible to support IOM CCCM unit in Community Resource Centers, he/she will perform the following duties.

Job Requirment

    • Support establishing referral pathways within CRC area coverage.
    •  Participate on a regular basis field visits jointly with the CRC teams within CRC area coverage.
    • Assist in Identification of sources of information and trends related to CRC coordination including identification of knowledge networks and communities of practice.
    • Participate in field missions as necessary.
    • Provide regular support to Referrals related work including service organization, service mapping, referring individuals in the CRC.
    • Update and maintain contact with service providers, and update service mapping on a regular basis.
    • Support that appropriate and reliable information is collected to build and update the profile of the referred case.
    • Contribute to mapping of relevant government, humanitarian, recovery and stabilization services and projects in CRC area coverage.
    • Participate in existing Cluster coordination forums at the governorate level.
    • Contribute to the timely and regular (daily) referrals of the cases, while maintaining a complete record (using CRC’s referral tracking tools) of all referred cases’ details and actions taken.
    • Conduct full and regular follow-up on the referred cases’ status and persons-in-charge, to understand whether the beneficiaries have effectively accessed relevant procedures and/or actually availed themselves of the needed service(s) and rights.
    • Propose improvements of follow up tools and assessment forms as needed.
    • Report any obstacles, feasible solutions, concerns, to generate comprehensive lessons learnt and improve both the beneficiaries’ environment and the CRC’s teams’ dynamics, procedures and practices.
    • Follow-up internal referrals between the teams
    • Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
    • Required Qualifications and Experience
    • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in political or social sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience.
    •   Or
    • School diploma with four years of relevant experience.
    • Experience
    • Knowledge of Camp Coordination and Camp Management and protection (an advantage)
    • Strong ability to engage with community members, partners and other stakeholders in a respectful manner (essential).
    • Familiarity with the local area and surrounding (desirable)
    • Experience with participatory fieldwork, methodologies, and monitoring
    • Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations.
    • Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups; and,
    • Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.

    • Knowledge of camp management-related technical guidelines, standards, and indicators.
    • Languages
    • For all Applicants, fluency in English is required (oral and written).
    • Working knowledge of Pashto or Dari is required.
    • Fluency in all national language(s) are highly advantages.
