The Cook & Cleaner will have responsibilities that include:

• Under the supervision of the Logistics Coordinator, the position is responsible for preparing and serving meals for staff while ensuring high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen management. The role also supports the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall functionality of office facilities.
• Key responsibilities include preparing daily meals and refreshments, managing kitchen supplies, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas, and ensuring meals are served on time.
• The position is also responsible for operating and maintaining office heating systems, monitoring fuel supplies, and ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment during colder seasons.
• In addition, the role supports office cleaning and upkeep by maintaining workspaces, meeting rooms, sanitation facilities, and outdoor areas, while ensuring the availability of clean drinking water and essential cleaning materials.
• The successful candidate will assist with basic office support tasks, report maintenance needs, safeguard office equipment, and carry out additional duties assigned by the supervisor to support smooth day-to-day operations.

Job Requirment

• Candidates should have proven experience in food preparation and kitchen operations, with the ability to cook a variety of meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality.
• Strong cleaning and housekeeping skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work environment.
• Applicants should possess a positive attitude, strong teamwork abilities, and a willingness to support colleagues when needed.
• A minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in cooking, cleaning, or similar support roles is required.
• The ability to read and write in Pashto is mandatory.
