ORGANIZATION FOR COMMUNITY COORDINATION AND DEVELOPMENT (OCCD)
OCCD, established and registered with the Ministry of Economy in 2013 with number of 3032, is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political and independent organization. OCCD has a board of trustee (BOT) which is comprised of volunteer members who are working outside the organization
Job Summary
- Supervise the activities of the CHWs during their practices in the community
- Provides on-the-job and monthly in-service training to CHWs
- Assists in identifying CHW training needs.
- Designs and implements plans to upgrade the skills of both CHWs and members of the community Health Shura, as needed.
- Conduct training for CHWS
- Assists the staff of the health facility in making plans for the community health programs in the facility and its catchment area.
- Implements and supervises the community health program activities in the catchment area of the health facility.
- Identifies and reports immediately to the head of the health facility any problems that may interfere with achieving program objectives
- Guides the CHWs in the development and implementation of their action plans.
- Conducts monthly supervisory meetings with CHWs
- Ensures regular replacement of supplies in the CHW kits.
The Community Health Supervisor Job at in Multi Location With ( 12 Vacancies ) will have responsibilities that include:
- Conducts regular visits to the CHWs in their communities to assess and assist their work.
- Encourages teamwork among CHWs, especially when they are working in the same catchment population
- Ensures the quality of the Tally sheets and community maps maintained by the CHWs and assists the CHWs where needed.
- Completes the appropriate Monthly Activity Reports (MAR) and completes the facility's Monthly Aggregated Activity Report (MAAR) in coordination with the HF in charge.
- Uses the reporting system and information received from Urban CHWs to monitor health conditions and submits findings to the in-charge person of HF.
- Follow up the defaulter cases of ANC, PNC, SAM, and MAM cases in the community.
- Active participation in planned NIDs in the community.
Job Requirment
- Graduated from/ or graduated from 12th class / nursing university
- 4 years of work experience in the relevant field.
- Experience in training, facilitation, and/or program support.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills (written and spoken) of Dari, Pashto & English
- Demonstrated skills in health management and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of planning/organizing/communication skills, problem analysis/solving presentation skills/facilitation and coaching skills
