Job Summary
- The Power Engineer is Responsible for defining preventive maintenance procedures for generators and power systems and ensuring that all staff is properly trained in preventative maintenance and repair procedures and is done as required. The principal task will be to supply uninterrupted power to GSM telecommunications equipment.
The AWCC Jobs in Multi Location, (Power Engineer) will have responsibilities that include:
- Oversee and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of all generators as per the daily work schedule which is planned by his supervisor.
- Need to involve diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel generators.
- Should work with different sizes and types of DGs starting from 5 KVA up to 1 MVA.
- Should be able to do maintenance of sites properly, fill out the form, and report to his supervisor.
- Should be able to do preventive maintenance for all types of generators (Changing oil, changing fuel filter- oil filter, and air filter, and checking properly all of the sensors and fuel quantity).
- Work on shifts according to a shift schedule if required.
- A sound understanding of generator power system, grounding system, Transformer, UPS, ATS Panel, distribution panel, etc.
- Skill in troubleshooting AC and DC power systems.
- Skill in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing generator alternators and other electrical equipment.
- Ability to follow safety standards in working with the power system.
- Must have good work habits and be able to work with other techs and management staff.
- Try to understand and improve his technical knowledge of engines, generator alternators, fuel systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Try to improve his ability in teamwork and leading good manner with other staff and better communication.
- Perform other related duties, such as site down and repairing DG in the site (changing Parts).
Job Requirment
- University graduates with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of Electrical.
- Good understanding of the English language.
- Good understanding of computer programs, especially office packages.
- Should follow the company's official policies and rules.
- Be able to travel to the job sites.
- Should have good relations and manners with other staff.
- Respect the company sub-contractors, and vendors and have good relations with vendors.
- Should be interested in technical training programs to improve his technical knowledge.
- Should be able to do a proper job with fewer possible expenses.
- Should have information regarding other technical parts like generator mechanisms, DC, and AC systems.
- Be familiar with office equipment and devices.
- Be able to use Electrical devices correctly.
