AGENCY FOR ASSISTANCE AND DEVELOPMENT OF AFGHANISTAN (AADA)
AADA was founded in 2005 with the main aim of providing quality health and social services, professional capacity building, and promotion of equal access of communities to developmental and humanitarian services. AADA also responds to the needs of the Afghan people in accordance with the principles and fundamentals of civil society organizations.
Quality improvement, geographic expansion, diversification of funding, institutional development, gender equity, women empowerment and community development are among the main strategic directions reflected in the “AADA Strategic Plan”.
In its long life AADA has operated in 33 provinces of Afghanistan and has successfully implemented more than 125 health and health-related projects, including 28 education/capacity development projects. AADA is a multi-donor funded organization in partnership with the Government of Afghanistan and other international donors including USAID, World Bank, Global Fund and UN agencies.
Job Summary
- Under the direct supervision of the project technical manager, the HMIS officer has the overall responsibility of health facilities and health posts data collection, analysis, interpretation and feedback to HFs.
- Conduct data validation and audits of all health facilities in coordination and collaboration with an M&E officer;
- Ensure that data for key indicators is analyzed, prepared on visible charts, pasted on facility walls and updated monthly;
- Responsible for building the capacity of HFs through formal and on-the-job training
Key responsibilities of AADA Jobs in Herat, (HMIS Officer) - ( 2 Vacancies ):
- Receive, review and archive in a computerized system monthly the DHIS2 from all the health facilities supported by AADA and ensure that data is kept secure including having data backups;
- Maintain internal project database and prepare analytical reports monthly and share them with the project technical manager for review and corrective action;
- Conduct supervision visits to health facilities to ensure accurate data collection and provide feedback;
- Attending the HMIS committee meetings;
Job Requirment
- MD, graduated from a recognized medical faculty;
- At least three year of work experience in HMIS, Monitoring and Evaluation
- Fluency in written and spoken local language;
- Having skills in computer applications such as Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of local environments;
