Opportunity Description
The University of Melbourne annually offers scholarships and grants for national and international students, including the University of Melbourne Student Grants. These grants are over 150 bursaries allocated by varying generous gifts and donations to support students in poor financial conditions. The total amount starts from $1,000 – $10,000 Grants for the academic year 2024.
If you are an Australian domestic or international student studying at the University of Melbourne in 2024, apply immediately! This single-time payment opportunity is available for all study areas. To be eligible for these scholarships, students should provide enrolment evidence at the University of Melbourne and have an academic status of Good Standing. They should provide proof of financial need, too. The selection committee will select the eligible students based on financial need.

Benefits of the University of Melbourne Student Grants
Students will benefit from these grants as follows:
- A single payment differing from almost $10,00 to $10,000
- Advice, loans, and grants support for students in immediate need of financial aid, and they should contact the University Financial Aid Team
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible students need to:
- Provide enrolment evidence at the University of Melbourne
- Present proof of financial need
- Have an excellent academic standing
- Be both Australian or international students
- Applicants undertaking a single subject or a non-award course are ineligible
Application Guidelines for University of Melbourne Student Grants
All eligible students should submit an online Student Financial Assessment form by the deadline. The application has two rounds, as follows:
- Round 1: Opens on 1 January – closes on 10 March
- Round 2: Opens on 1 May- closes on 4 August
