• Administer teaching (Part Time = 4 hours; Full Time = 8 hours) until and unless mentioned otherwise.
• Prepare daily lesson plans in view of student’ need and program ‘s objectives.
• Develop or collect supplementary teaching materials/resources,
• Continue professional development based on the directions of the supervisor.
• Cooperate with the other teaching staff in sharing knowledge, experience, materials etc. Establish effective communication with the colleagues at the center and regional levels Monitor, observe and evaluate the students’ daily, weekly and monthly performance.  Develop essential reports of students’ progress and performance and share with the related supervisors.
• Report major attendance issues of the students to the Operation Assistant in a timely manner.
• To carry Out the roles and responsibilities in a way which reflects AKES, A’s commitment to protecting children, beneficiaries, partners, community members and employees in accordance with Safeguarding Manual and Child Safeguarding Policy.

Occasional Significant Duties and Responsibilities

• Take active participation in meetings and workshops for quality improvement or professional development.
• Influence and motivate the staff, students, and parents to work as a team.
• Provide cover for other teachers when on leave, taking into account the possibilities.

• Bachelor’s degree (in urban areas) or TTC diploma (in rural areas) in English Language and Literature or a field related to language teaching.
• English Proficiency of
• Teaching experience of at least 3 years in urban areas or 6 months in rural areas.
• Adequate to excellent English teaching knowledge and skills as demonstrated in the teaching demo and interview.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Persian as demonstrated in the written test and teaching demo and interview.
• Any other valid certificates in the field of English learning/teaching are an asset.
