Job Description:

Assist the Head of Internal Audit (HIA), BRAC Afghanistan in the collection of audit spots to

prepare the risk-based Annual Internal Audit Plan (AIAP) for BRAC Afghanistan and its

achievement as per Audit Plan.

ď‚§ To carry out risk-based audits, process audits, financial statements audits, special audits,

surprised audits, and other advisory services as per annual internal audit plan and

management decision.

ď‚§ Evaluate and test systems and controls to determine their adequacy and effectiveness,

ensure compliance with policies and procedures, reliability and integrity of information

while conducting the audit assignments.

 Prepare and submit the draft audit report for HIA, BRAC Afghanistan’s review within the

timeline. Assist HIA in finalization of the draft reports.

ď‚§ Prepare and preserve the various documents for audit work such as working papers, audit

programme, supporting evidence, permanent file, current file, circulars, minutes and office

memos.

ď‚§ To carry out the annual physical verification of fixed assets in the country office and other

offices.

ď‚§ To conduct Compliance services, i.e. Reguatory and Donor Complaince Services, Internal

Control Questionnaires (ICQs), Safeguarding Surveys as per AIAP and management

decision.

ď‚§ Effective communication with the HIA, BRAC Afghanistan, programme management,

departmental staff and IAD’s Head Office Management (Dhaka Office).

ď‚§ To carry out any other work assigned by HIA, BRAC Afghanistan

Qualification:

  • In-depth knowledge in Audit conduction, documentation and reporting;
  • Capacity to communicate with clients;
  • In-depth knowledge in Afghan Regulatory Requirements for NGOs
  • Knowledge on reporting and communication standards
  • Ability to operate computer efficiently such as MS word, Excel, Power point & Internet.
  • CA/ ACCA partly qualified will be preferred.
  • Education Mast be MBA
  • The applicant has to travel to the field frequently.
