The project supervisor is responsible for supporting project activities of CBNP-Initial, C-WIFS, MNP and MIYCN trainings in all districts of Khost/Paktia. In addition to the specific duties outlined below, the project supervisor will be responsible for providing technical support and supervision to the project team; contributing to reporting and data collection; initiating leading monitoring visits to support project activities and providing timely technical input. Two positions for each province that should be couples.

Major Area of Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall implementation of CBNP, C-WIFS and MNP
• Work closely with the project staff to achieve project objectives and targets effectively and efficiently
• Conduct supervision from the CBNP, C-WIFS and MNP training conducting to CHSs and CHWs.
• Close work with CHSs and CHWs in supporting the project activities on HPs/HFs level
• Supervision from C-WIFS and MNP campaigns and share findings on timely manner
• Provide regular technical and administration support to project sites
• Attend all coordination meetings held at the provincial level
• Develop and review the action plans and provide timely feedback to the relative staff
• Support project coordinator in the planning and reporting

Additional Job Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities set out above are not exhaustive and the post holder may be required to carry out additional duties from time to time which are reasonable in relation to their level of skills and experience.

• Skilled in, and committed to, community participation/interaction, field visits and presence in program areas.
• Able to speak/write in Pashto, Dari and English with clarity and ease.
• Computer skills (MS Office).
• Strength in interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to change work practices and hours, and capability to work in insecure environment
• Available to travel in to the targeted districts of the province.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Cooperative and helpful attitude and willingness to work outside normal business hours as needed

Education and Experience:

• MD Degree master degree is preferable
• At least 3 years’ experience in the field of supervision and monitoring
• Experience in the field of nutrition and CBNP implementation
• Broad knowledge and experience in program management experience and previous experience in area of management.
