Job Description:

The project Master Trainers is responsible for providing technical support to CBNP-Initial, C-WIFS Campaigns, MNP Campaigns and MIYCN Trainings in Paktia and Khost Provinces. In addition to the specific duties outlined below, the position holder will be responsible for facilitation of CBNP, WIFS and MNP trainings and supervision from the project sites.

Major Area of Responsibilities:

  • Facilitation of CBNP, WIFS and MNP trainings to CHSs and CHWs.
  • Conducting supportive supervision from the projects sites and provide technical support to the targeted staff.
  • Establish good coordination mechanism to HFs staff as well with community for proper implementation of nutrition related intervention.
  • Support project coordinator in developing monthly activity plans and reports.
  • Support CHSs in conducing CHWs/volunteers CBNP refresher training.
  • Facilitate SMS session on HPs level and support CHSs/CHWs in conducting of this session.
  • Supportive Supervision from the GM session during CBNP implementation.
  • Facilitate C-WIFS and MNP campaigns during the project implementation.
  • Ensure all required supply to the HPs during the C-WIFS and MNP campaigns.
  • Data collection of C-WIFS and MNP campaign
  • Conducting of post campaign monitoring and share timely reports to the line manager
  • Participate in sectorial meetings on behalf of HADAAF
  • Perform other related tasks assigned by line manager

Additional Job Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities set out above are not exhaustive and the post holder may be required to carry out additional duties from time to time which are reasonable in relation to their level of skills and experience.

Qualification:

  • Skilled in, and committed to, community participation/interaction, field visits and presence in program areas.
  • Able to speak/write in Pashto, Dari and English with clarity and ease.
  • Computer skills (MS Office).
  • Strength in interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to change work practices and hours, and capability to work in insecure environment
  • Available to travel in to the targeted districts of the province.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Cooperative and helpful attitude and willingness to work outside normal business hours as needed

Education and Experience:

  • MD degree from recognize university
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the field of supervision, CBNP implementation and nutrition projects
  • Broad knowledge and experience of supervision and monitoring
