Job Description:
Work and monitor computer numerically controlled and manual lathe machines, carrying out machining operations such as turning, boring, threading, and facing.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Should be familiar with general Lathe Machine Operation.
- Should have knowledge of machine drawings, fits, and tolerances.
- Should be familiar with boring, drilling, reaming, threading, and tapping (both CGS & SI systems).
- Should have knowledge of lathe machine materials.
- Should have knowledge of other types of machinery.
- Should know how to prepare tools for machining.
- Should meet all safety requirements while performing the work.
- Should be familiar with diesel engines, bore, etc.
- Perform any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification:
- At least a 12th-class graduate. A degree from a technical institute is a plus.
- At least 4 years of experience.
- Should have worked in a reputed machine shop/Workshop.
- Must be acquainted with overall lathe machine operation and mechanical skills.
