Job Summary
- Development of Psychosocial (Mental health and psychosocial counselling) outreach plan, session reports and maintaining individual data.
- Responsible for day to day management of all psychosocial counseling related tasks.
- Keeping all records confidential.
- Provides Psychosocial counselling according to the guiding principles of dealing with Mental health and psychosocial counselling and centered approach.
- Try her best to protect Psycosocial sufferer from further harm.
- To assist Psycosocial sufferer in designing a Safety Plan for life threatening situations
- To follow procedures ensuring the confidentiality of Psycosocial sufferer at every step.
- To follow the ethical guidelines of Psycosocial response established by the team.
- Arrange and coordinate and follow up case management formalities such as consent forms, intake form, referral form and reporting.
- Establishes and maintains good working relation with BPHS /EPHS implementers and concerned stakeholders for referral pathways.
- Receive cases from the field level.
- Conducts individual and group Mental health and psychosocial counselling sessions.
The HEWAD Jobs in Panjshir, (Psychosocial Counselor) -( 3 Vacancies ) will have responsibilities that include:
- Builds trustful relationships with communities in general, women, girls and psychosocial sufferer in particular.
- Maintains respectful and professional attitude towards communities and psychosocial sufferer according to the guiding principles of Mental health and psychosocial counselling.
- Establishes and maintains a good recording and filling systems.
- Participates in coordination meetings to share information and discuss the activities progresses and represents the HEWAD and UNFPA in such events and meetings.
- Be in charge of all Administrations, Financial and operations matters .
- Report on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to immediate supervisor.
- Attend all relevant meetings requested by supervisor relevant to the project goals.
- Continue and expand relationships with NGOs, local government officials.
- Performs any other official task assigned by line supervisor and head quarter team.
Job Requirment
- MD preferred with 3-4 years experience, in the field of (Mental health and Psychosocial counselling) within a local and/or international organization.
- Understanding and technical experience in Mental health and psychosocial counselling.
- Fluent in Pashto/Dari and with working knowledge of English preferred.
- Skill and ability to understand and develop to propose solutions to the identify problem and Challenges.
- Knowlege regarding computer specially office package preffered
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good capacity analyses and conflict management skill.
