Job Description
Job Description:
- Assessing and evaluating the EPI activities in accordance with the plan policy and regulations of the organization and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring the quality and the implementation of EPI activities through monitoring/field visits.
- Assisting the project manager in the recruitment of project/EPI staff.
- Cooperating with WHO, UNICEF, MoPH and other stakeholder’s representatives in the implementation of EPI activities.
- Collecting EPI activities report analyzing the data and giving feedbacks to HFs and community outreach staff of the project.
- Assisting projects in designing planning and arranging the EPI training as well as supporting the training needs of EPI activities in the projects.
- Preparing an annual plan of training activities of EPI departments.
- Assisting projects to establish and maintain the EPI activities in health facilities.
- Monitoring the implementation of EPI guidelines at the health facilities level.
- Contributing to developing different EPI reports.
Participating in coordination meetings related to the project & EPI task forces and represent RI.
Qualification:
- MD/ Nursing from recognized University, and having Master degree in relevant discipline is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in health sector relevant/BPHS sectoral experience is an added advantage
- Strong team management and effective communication, self-motivation and capacity building experience.
- Highly organized with logistical planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, Dari, Pashto and working knowledge of English.
- Ability to prepare work plans, reports, and do follow-up EPI.
- Must be computer literate: using word and excel, as well as email.
Must be punctual and able to meet deadlines
